Sue and I think that creating Jolly Jacks is one of the most incredible things we have ever done. Not only are we in a fabulous location, right on the Mayflower Marina, with spectacular views, right on the Devon and Cornish borders, with the sea just there. We have the most amazing people come visit us from all over Devon, as well as the friendly bunch of folk who have their yachts moored. Jolly Jacks is gaining popularity, and we are forever grateful for it. We have changed our lives in such a short time. We moved from Leicestershire and Wiltshire to create our dream for a bar-bistro in Plymouth, Devon. After many years of being on their own, two old friends met and began to work together. Call it fate. We are living proof of taking life by the horns, taking risks in these uncertain times, but using our life experience and having fun, a joke, and a lot of laughter along the way. It is hard work, but we are having a great time, and simply enjoying working together, and with our team, our family and friends new & old we are living our dream and loving it in sunny Devon – Simply Fab.
